Martina Rejsjo, our VP of Product Management, shares insights into the latest industry trends, surveillance updates, and product developments. Her updates dive into new features, best practices, and strategic roadmaps designed to keep you informed and ahead of the curve.
This quarter, we’re excited to introduce new features designed to improve usability, efficiency and overall functionality—along with a sneak peek at our upcoming AI initiative.
Here’s what’s new in the Alert Dashboard:
- Multi-Day Selection – You can now analyze alerts across a custom date range, from a single day to a full month. This makes it easier to identify over/under-alerting procedures in chart view or detect over/under-alerting accounts in account mode.
- Improved Alert Scoring & Commenting – Alert scoring now uses a precise 0-10 scale. The commenting interface has also been improved—comments expand as you type, the latest comment is visible in the table and the full comment history can be accessed with a single click.
- Streamlined Filter Interaction – Filters can now be modified directly by clicking on a filter chip, making adjustments faster and more intuitive.
- Dynamic View Options – You can now choose between compact, comfortable, or dynamic views to better fit your workflow. Alert details remain visible without unnecessary cut-offs.
- Performance Enhancements – The dashboard has been optimized to efficiently handle large datasets, enabling users to run queries on their entire repository of historical alerts. This allows for quick MI report generation and seamless health checks on the surveillance program, ensuring timely insights and more effective monitoring
A major update this quarter is the introduction of a powerful new filter that allows users to query alerts based on both alert data and metadata. This provides deeper insights into why an alert was triggered and helps calibrate thresholds more effectively. The new functionality will allow for;
- Flexible Filtering – Build custom filters based on different alert data points over any time period.
- Better Threshold Calibration – Assess how changes to threshold settings would impact the number of alerts generated.
- Workflow Optimization – Use insights to automate low-value alert closures and fine-tune thresholds for improved accuracy.
We are also excited to introduce a sneak peek of Frank, our AI initiative launching later this year. Frank, unlike generative AI models that produce probabilistic responses, delivers deterministic, fact-based results by querying structured data within the Validus system. Operating securely within the Validus system, Frank ensures data integrity and explainability while enabling analysts to retrieve insights, resolve alerts and generate reports without coding expertise.
This is a significant leap forward in making compliance workflows more efficient, intuitive and data-driven. More details to come soon, watch this space
